Autumn Cloud Cha Hu
秋云暗几重,飞鸟何处归。
"Autumn clouds, dark in layer upon layer, Where do the flying birds return?”
Unlike its western counterparts, the Cha Hu 茶壶, or Tea Pot, is relatively diminuitive in size. Its compact chamber retains heat well, which is essential for brewing resilient Pu’er tea leaves. Over time, its unglazed clay interior absorbs flavors from the tea, forming a patina that influences each subsequent brew. Raising a tea pot (养壶) represents the history of your tea practice and is totally unique to you. For this reason, it is recommended that you devote one cha hu to one specific type of tea (best for deep and complex teas like Pu’er and some Oolongs). CAPACITY: 110mL
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Disclaimer: Due to the natural firing process, glazes vary in appearance. What you receive will look stylistically similar, but not exactly the same as what is pictured; making your teaware completely unique to you.
