The Gaiwan 盖碗, or Lidded Bowl, is one of the signature wares of the Chinese Gong Fu Cha practice. While it takes a bit of practice to master the technique, this vessel allows for the most precise control for preparing tea. Steeps are easily timed and temperature effortlessly adjusted when using the Gaiwan.
