Exhibition Dian Hong Cha
Yunnan Black Tea
$44.00
Black Tea, called Hong Cha or Red Tea in China, derives its name from the warm amber of its liquor. Though first crafted in Fujian, Japanese occupation during World War II forced tea masters to flee west, back to the birthplace of tea — Yunnan. It was there, in our very own town of Fengqing, that they discovered that the ancient Yunnan tea trees offered a flavorful new varietal of Hong Cha. This gift from a dark chapter of history is a living reminder of how the lotus indeed emerges from the mud.
Each package contains 50 g of hand picked Dian Hong Cha leaves.
