Pu’er Sheng Cha is the living ancestor of all modern teas. First crafted by the indigenous peoples of Yunnan, its namesake comes from the small market town of Pu’er, where it was pressed into cakes for durable transport along the Ancient Tea Horse Road. So prized was this humble leaf that it was traded for fine silk and Tibetan horses. Today, we continue this legacy with the simplest of methods — sun-dried, hand-rolled, and pan-fried at low temperatures. This primordial process preserves a host of living microbes, which offer a multitude of health benefits but also allow Pu’er Sheng Cha to age and transform through time.

Each package contains 100 grams of hand-selected Pu'er Sheng leaves.
