Pu’er Shou Cha is the modern heir to an ancient story. For centuries, Raw Pu’er Tea was carried along the winding Tea Horse Road, where months of passage through humid lowlands and high mountain passes would gently darken and mellow the leaves. In the 1970’s scientists in Yunnan developed a method to recreate this transformation in a fraction of the time. Our co-founder, Zhu Xian Dong, has since invented two proprietary methods, improving the purity of the fermenting process. This combination of happy accident and intentional innovation were the conditions that allowed Pu’er Shou Cha to develop its own unique character, rich in beneficial microbes and layered, earthy flavor.
Each package contains 50 grams of hand-selected Pu'er Shou leaves.
