Stone Flower Cha Hu
#005
千岩万转路不定,迷花倚石忽已暝。
“Through a thousand crags and ten-thousand bends the path is never sure; enchanted by flowers, leaning on the rocks—suddenly it’s already dusk.”
Unlike its western counterparts, the Cha Hu 茶壶, or Tea Pot, is relatively diminuitive in size. Its compact chamber retains heat well, which is essential for brewing resilient Pu’er tea leaves. Over time, its unglazed clay interior absorbs flavors from the tea, forming a patina that influences each subsequent brew. Raising a tea pot (养壶) represents the history of your tea practice and is totally unique to you. For this reason, it is recommended that you devote one cha hu to one specific type of tea (best for deep and complex teas like Pu’er and Oolong).
Capacity: 120mL
Care Instructions:
- Rinse by hand after every use and only with hot water—no soap.
- Do not mix teas; dedicate one pot to one type.
