For 20 days, Yunnan native timber dances across pieces crafted by Master Shu Wenzhao's hand. The interplay of ash, fire, minerals, air and clay are recorded on the surface of each 杯子 beizi, creating a visual and textural history of how these non-cup elements came together to form this Wood Fire Beizi. This dance cannot be predicted or repeated and therefore, no two are alike.
